A crowd of around 500 gathered at the multi-purpose hall of Xavier Jesuit School on the 3rd of December 2019 to celebrate the patron saint of Francis Xavier Parish and Xavier Jesuit School for the first time.

The feast day began with a Thanksgiving Eucharist which was presided by Mgr. Enrique Figaredo along with 12 priests and the many religious sisters and parishioners coming from the Battambang Prefecture. Liturgical dances were performed by dance groups from Tahen, Xavier parish and Xavier Jesuit School throughout the Eucharistic celebration.

Mgr. Enrique encouraged the young students from Xavier Jesuit School with two wise messages: (i) Fostering lasting friendship by serving others just like St. Francis Xavier and St. Ignatius of Loyola; and (ii) a love for mother nature by planting trees for the love of our common home.

After the Eucharist, students from Francis Xavier Parish and Xavier Jesuit School performed seven beautiful songs and dances to all the welcoming guests and visitors which filled the multi-purpose hall of Xavier Jesuit School. We would like to share some photos of the Feast of St. Francis Xavier here.
