From the 1st to the 16th September 2015, huge rain downpours in Sisophon have failed to dampen the spirits of students and teachers participating on the Summer School project. The morning lessons on Khmer, Maths, Science/Social studies, English, Art and PE, encourage active participation while the afternoon activities offer students hands on or feet on experience of compost making, handicrafts, sports, tree-planting and singing in the rain. A mobile library allows students to borrow books to read and special remedial classes are run for those grade six students who have not yet learned to read. The construction workers try to keep the noisy drilling work for the afternoons as the work on the CLC/TRC building nears completion!
