On Saturday the 8th of September, under the guidance of Br. Ham Toeun the students from the Sisophon Church, planted 300 Acacia trees along the reinforced banks of the new roads on the school land. The saplings are tiny now but hopefully by next year they will begin to provide shelter and support to the roads. The rains are still not falling regularly so it will be a struggle to provide the saplings with enough water. The students also planted seven Koki trees inside the traffic circle. Some students and other local groups helped to plant grass along the verges also. Facebook : Xavier Jesuit School Cambodia
