On Thursday 9 May 2024 Stem Club with 4 groups of students participating in 18th STEM Exhibition Festival in Phnom Penh for 4 days. It was an eye-opening experience to meet up with STEM lovers from other schools around Phnom Penh. The event not only enhancing our knowledge on the project ideas, but give insight for further development in the coming school years. Students were also given the opportunity to introduce their own projects that they had been preparing for almost 2 months before.
The event was full of fun and enthusiasm for students, teachers and school leaders. In addition, this STEM events brought a new horizon of learning to our students from the rural area. Students were amazed and fascinated with all those innovative ideas and creativity. Especially, our stem club students learned smart design skills , techniques of creating project. and on the last day of the event, students also took the opportunity to visit S21 (Killing Fields at Khmer Rouge) where they reviewed about the Cambodia’s sad story which they once learned in the history lesson.
