From 9th to 11th of December 2019, a group of 12 senior school students and four teachers from St. Ignatius College Adelaide had their “journey of the heart” at Xavier Jesuit School Sisophon. The students and teachers from St. Ignatius taught English and Mathematics to our students during their time at XJS. They also attended Visual Art and Music lessons and joined in singing and dancing with our students. On the morning of the 10th, a friendly game of football took place on the XJS football field. The encounter was a memorable one as all the players gave it their best on the football field. After the match, sharing of cultural dances took place on the side of the field. Even though the visit was short, hearts were touched, tears flowed, and sadness appeared on the faces of both visitors and hosts as St. Ignatius Adelaide left XJS on the afternoon of the 11th of December.
