On the 21st of October at 10.45, 18 Professors and 3 staff members of the Business Faculty of Sogang University in Seoul in Korea, came to visit the Xavier Jesuit School Project in the company of Fr. Kim John Duhyun. At the Community Learning Centre, Br. Roh Augustine Hyun-woo presented the main features of the education project in Korean and afterwards, Fr. Ashley replied to their many questions in English. One insight from the Jesuit education experience in Korea is the importance of the involvement of alumni in the future development and extension of the project. Fr. Quyen was able to explain how this project’s focus on teacher training is a little different from the focus of the education project in Timor Leste. Mr. Neville Harpham, a civil engineer from Australia, offered helpful clarifications on the construction process. The Professors and Staff made a generous personal donation to the school project. After this conversation, the group toured the school campus.
