Last Sunday morning was filled with excitement and delight for the Xavier Jesuit school, as we were very happy to welcome another local school, Mkak Secondary school to play in a friendly football meeting. This year we have a mix of grade 7 and 8 students on the football teams, training twice a week with our sports teacher.

The girls team were up first. They played well as a team to emerge with a 3-0 victory, thanks to a superb hat-trick from one of our talented grade 8 students!

The boys team were playing next, in hot conditions! This was a competitive match and both teams were enthusiastic in their play! It was a hard fought match but Xavier Jesuit school scored two goals to seal the victory at 2-0!
