On the 17th of February 2016 at 2.00 p.m. Fr. Gabriel Lim Hon Kok led a delegation from the Korean Benefactors’ Association to visit the Xavier Jesuit School project on their way from Battambang to Siem Reap. Some members had visited the project a year earlier and were surprised at the rapid development. These Korean benefactors had not realized that it has been precisely their loyal generosity that has enabled to project to flourish quickly. Ms. Sonai, Fr. Quyen and Fr. Ashley presented the project and then brought the group to see the site where construction of the primary school classrooms will start next month. The group could also see the land-fill work that has recently begun to prepare for the construction of the middle school after another two years. The young primary children attending the Khmer remedial classes were fascinated to meet and interact with this group of generous Korean benefactors.
