On the 31st of May 2016, at 9.20, the nine Education Secretaries of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific (JCAP) arrived at Dey Lo Kindergarten and Primary School. Ms. Ao Thavy, the School Coordinator, greeted the group and led the children in singing a welcome song. Ms. Sela was teaching a grade one Mathematics class with Ms. Saory under the guidance of Ms. Lucia Wong. Then the group moved across to the Community Learning Centre at Phnom Bak Kraom where the kindergarten children were practicing a song and dance for International Children’s Day. Ms. Sonai presented the wide variety of educational activities currently offered at the CLC. After walking to the primary school construction site and then to the river, the secretaries shared a lunch with the School Team whom Fr. Quyen Vu introduced.
