On 1st June 2016 from 8-10am, the community kindergarten of Dey Lo and Xavier Jesuit School in Phnom Bak celebrated International Children’s Day together at the Community Learning Center (CLC). The kindergarten coordinator Ms. Ah Thavy gave a very warm welcome to parents. The audience was treated to a talent filled performance, which included Khmer traditional dance Bobha Lokai, and popular dance Somros Nearee Khmer from Grade 1. K3 told the story of rural life in Cambodia, through song and mime and K2 sang songs to celebrate children’s day. The celebrations concluded with a singing competition in the style of The Voice, where children from all classes had the opportunity to give solo performances. The parents was so delighted and proud of their children, they were very grateful to see how much effort the school puts into their children’s education.
