On the 3rd of December, 2018, 530 Xavier Jesuit School students plus the Nobili students from the Francis Xavier Parish and 20 students and teachers from St. Ignatius Adelaide Australia gathered to celebrate our patron saint day. The celebration involved a Khmer blessing performed by the Nobili students as well as a dramatisation on the life of Francis Xavier. Then classes from Xavier Jesuit School performed various action songs as well as the high school students singing hymns in Khmer.
A short slideshow on the life of Francis Xavier made from the drawings of the students was also presented.
An exciting session of Question and Answer on the life of Francis Xavier was facilitated by Br. Damo with a small prize for the correct answer. Almost every single student had his/her hand up. The celebration concluded with the whole student body including our guests with their dancing shoes on until lunch time.
A good celebration was had by all on the patron saint of Xavier Jesuit School.
