Throughout the month of May, all the high school students at XJS undertook a project called the “Egg Drop”. Each team had to design and construct the ideal carrier to protect an egg being dropped from a certain height.
The project came to the crunch last Saturday when the students took their finished product to the test. It was evident from the cheers and high enthusiasm that the students took this project to heart. There was one outright winning team with their egg surviving 11 rounds of being dropped.
It was great to see students putting theory into practice and having fun all at the same time.
