This year Xavier Jesuit school is starting an exciting project using mobile app in educational purpose. We will use app called DoBrain, the best educational app for 3-8 aged children in Korea. DoBrain accelerates children’s cognitive development remarkably. While students enjoy the app’s animations and mini games, they will learn and grow many abilities and skills.
All contents are designed by Asan Medical Center (NO.1 hospital in Korea), also National Pediatric Hospital of Cambodia have confirmed its safety. 40 Tablet PCs are donated to run this project, and students will use this app 30 minutes at a time, 3 times a week. Teachers will be managing students to use it properly. Also, professional staff from DoBrain company will be staying at school to guide students and teachers.
To measure effectiveness of DoBrain Program, doctors from National Pediatric Hospital Phnom Penh visit the school before and after the project, to diagnosis each students’ developmental status. The DoBrain project lasts for 18 weeks, from March to July. In the end of this project, we will able to know how much our students have improved in their cognitive development.
