On the 10th of January 2015 from 4.00 to 5.30 p.m. the newly formed cub-scout troop helped to clean the litter left by visitors around the grounds of the local Buddhist pagoda at Phnom Bak. The Pagoda “Ah-cha” (similar to a Church sacristan) was very happy to welcome these young and enthusiastic helpers. Environmental awareness is growing in Cambodia and the young scout leaders are already inspiring service activities in this sense.
