In preparation for a new academic school year in 2019-2020, Xavier Jesuit School had its Staff Orientation Day on the 10th of October 2019 with two special guests, Fr. Totet Banaynal SJ, parish priest of St. John Parish Siem Reap and the director of the Provincial Education Office of Banteay Meanchey province, Mr. Chhou Bunroeung.
Fr. Totet gave an inspiring presentation on “Ignatian Principles” and the “spirit of Magis” to XJS staff and teachers. The presentation allows all the XJS staff to think about the “purpose and meaning of life as well as discerning the right path to tread”.
Mr. Chhou Bunroeung, shared with us the education priorities for the Banteay Meanchey province for the next 5 years. It was very beneficial to recognise the education priorities of the province and allow us to align our education vision and mission with those of the Banteay Meanchey province.
