Last week 10 students from Grade 7, 8 and 9 of XJS attended STEM Cambodia Festival held at Diamond Island in Phnom Penh over two days. It was the third time for our students to join this science and technology exhibition.
Two of the best performing students in every science class were selected to join this trip. As such, they were all intensely engaged in all exhibits and proactively took part in trying out the experiments. Many of the students showed strong desire to exhibit their own experiments at the next STEM Festival.
The trip was also interspersed with seeing important historical sites in Phnom Penh such as Tuol Sleng. It was a memorable trip for everyone, especially for those students who were visiting Phnom Penh for the very first time.
