It was a moment of joy for the Xavier Jesuit School Community in the early morning of March 7th, 2018. The Royal Government of Cambodia, through the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS), finally granted permission for Xavier Jesuit School to operate legally the secondary school. The document was submitted to the government of Cambodia more than a year already and it was being process up until this day. It was until the inauguration of Xavier Jesuit School and under the presence of His Excellency Hieng Sine that the school requested his assistance with regard to permission to run as a secondary school.  On the 6th of March, 2018 Br. Damo travelled to Phnom Penh upon a call from the administration office of the MoEYS. Early morning of the next day, the officer allowed Br. Damo to go to the office to attain the permission letter from the government. The license stated that Xavier Jesuit School is granted permission to operate legally with the full support from all the department of MoEYS nationwide.  Furthermore, it allowed the school to co-join in the national exams for grade 9th as well as grade 12th. Thus, Xavier Jesuit School has reached another milestone following the Inauguration of the school that took place on the 2nd of December, 2017.
