Heavy rains during the month of July have meant that the river bordering our land has already broke its banks and is slowly flooding the lower part of our land. Last year our pond filled at the end of the rainy season in October but this year our pond was already full before St. Ignatius Day on the 31st of July. The heavy rains have made access to the grade 7 classroom difficult. The construction work has also had to slow down. However the trees, bushes and plants are blooming all over the campus. The wild birds sing delightedly each morning while the frogs and toads croak joyously in the evenings. We are hoping that August will be a drier month than July. Otherwise we will be treading water soon.
