On the weekend of 22nd and 23rd of July, the cub-scout pack gathered for another overnight camp at the school. Mr. Yeat, M. Antoine and the other leaders prepared a detailed program of activities. The scouts stayed in the new Multi-purpose hall. Despite some heavy rainfall, the scouts remained cheerful and resilient. They prepared a traditional camp-fire with songs including one based on the Scout Law. They learnt how to make natural torches to light the way in the dark. They prepared their own stage with a special background. Early on Sunday morning, the scouts planted palm trees around the Community Learning Centre after exercise and washing. Fifteen scouts made their scout promise at a formal investiture ceremony and received their green and gold neckerchiefs. Thanks to all the leaders for their generous spirit of service!
