On the 30th of May 2017 at 10.30 a.m., Mr. Chea Nimol, the constructor of the Multi-purpose led Fr. Ashley and Mr. Chatchawarn on a final inspection.   The stage has been completed with thick wood-like lino while the main hall has been painted with an epoxy surface of different colours.   Even on dark days, there is sufficient light for sports and game activities inside.  There are two painted volley-ball courts and two painted badminton courts but the hall can be used for all kinds of other sports and public functions as well.  The hall is large (25m x 60m) and well ventilated and the roof extends over the outer walk-way.  The first school event in this hall will be the celebration of International Children’s day on the 1st of June when the children from Dey Lo will come across to join the children of Phnom Bak for a series of special events.  Xavier Jesuit School is very grateful to the parish of St. Ignatius Church in Singapore and to the Jesuit Mission supporters in Austria and Germany who have been the major donors for this construction project.
