On Thursday the 23rd of February 2017 at 5.00 p.m. Mr. Antoine Laroche completed teaching his computer skills course to young adults at the Community Learning Centre. Fifteen young people received Certificates of Completion after following this course over the last three months since the beginning of December 2016. The students were introduced to basic word processing skills in both Khmer and English and then were trained how to create simple graphs and power point presentations. Once their basic typing skills had improved sufficiently, the students were taught how to access and use the internet to find information and to improve their general education. They also learnt how to use maps and journey planners. A new introductory course for other young people will begin next week.
