On Monday the 19th of December, Fr. Lorenzo Yom led a team from Joy of Sharing to visit the Xavier Jesuit School Project.  Our old friend, Uncle Jo, was one of the team members.  First the team visited the Dey Lo kindergarten and primary school whose construction was almost completely funded by Joy of Sharing.  Then the team came to the main campus where Fr. Ashley brought the team members up to date on the development of the school project.   The Joy of Sharing group were able to visit the seven new primary school classrooms which they funded over the last year and to meet the secondary school students who are using these classrooms temporarily.   The group also brought a hugely significant donation from the Life Science Department of Sogang University to our school.  The Life Science Department donated four microscopes to our school project.  Our Science teachers were moved to tears at the sight of this gift.  The donation will enable both students and teachers to deepen their scientific analytical skills and reasoning.  Our volunteer science teacher from Ireland, Ms. Aoife Jenkins, will ensure that these microscopes are well looked after until we hire a full-time Khmer Science teacher.
