In the middle of December 2015, Ms. Marie Ea welcomed the first five young adults who applied for the Computer and IT Skills Training course as they started their studies at the Community Learning Centre. The program includes basic computer skills, logical reasoning, English and problem solving. In early January these first five students were joined by eight young monks from the local pagoda who can only study in the afternoon. Most of the Computer and IT students come from remote rural areas and have had limited education opportunities. We are learning from this experience how to provide useful and effective training to young adults. Our teachers, Mr. Sovann and Mr. Francois also help with the English program.
