On the 5nd of January 2015, Ms. Ao Thavy, the newly appointed Principal of the Community Kindergarten school, led her team of three teachers in welcoming back two classes of children to the school at Dey Lo village near our school land. With the help of our teacher trainer, Ms. Lucia Wong, the forty-three children started to follow the curriculum of studies designed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. The Xavier Jesuit School Project bought new smaller plastic tables and chairs so that learning activities can take place in small groups in a more friendly atmosphere. Two new teachers, Ms. Yav Sela and Ms. Yom Mona, are already following the kindergarten teacher training program run by the Krousar Yeung (Our Family) NGO.
