On 25th March 2014, the Jesuit School Project team (Fr. John Ashley Evans, Br. Ham Toeun, Ms. Lucia Wong and Ms. Phon Sonai) travelled to visit Community Learning Centers in Siem Reap province CLCs supported by National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan. In the morning, Mr. Nong Vutha presented the objectives and programs of the CLC’s. The democratic involvement of the local villagers from the beginning was the key to their effectives. In the afternoon, the team visited the Tatrav and Preah Khan Leang Dey Community Learning Centres where the local leaders clarified how these CLCs work effectively.
