On the 7th October 2016, three Presentation Sisters arrived in Sisophon to join the education project. Sr. Lizzy Mathew, Sr. Anne Lyons and Sr. Preethi Chacko participated in their first community gathering that evening. Fr. Greg Priyadi presided the Eucharist at the Community Learning Centre which was followed by a meal and then by community sharing. In this quiet and unobtrusive manner, a new chapter in the history of the education project has begun. The Presentation Sisters and the Jesuits have reached an agreement to cooperate together on this project. Each religious congregation has its own education charism but now the project will benefit from both, St. Ignatius and of Ven. Nano Nagle. We have prepared a temporary gratitude board for major donors and a temporary school sign to be used during the construction process.
