My name is Quyen Vu SJ I am a Jesuit from the Australian province. I joined the Jesuits in 1994 and was interested in working outside Australia. During my regency year as part of the formation of the Jesuits, I responded to the call from the Society of Jesus in the region of East Asia and Oceania for service in Timor Leste. I spent six years in total working in the area of education in this small country and was a member of the Jesuit Education Team that was responsible for setting up the first Jesuit School in this country.
I have taught at St. Aloysius’ College and Loyola Senior High School in Sydney Australia as well as St. Joseph’s Senior High School in Dili and St. Ignatius College in Kasait, Timor Leste.
Recently I was asked to collaborate with the Jesuits in Cambodia in setting up the first Jesuit School there. I am a new member of the Xavier Jesuit School Education Team which is situated in Svey Sisophon Cambodia.
