The four members of the school team, Fr. Ashley, Br. Toeun, Ms. Sonai and Ms. Lucia together with Ms. Ponhacka of our Education Mission Leadership Team (EMLT) traveled to St. Ignatius College Riverview in Sydney from the 8-12th of July 2014. This school hosted a Colloquium for leaders of Jesuit schools across the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific. Nearly 100 principals and board members participated in this Colloquium on the theme of “Reconciliation with Creation”. Each morning, three key-note speakers led reflection on a particular issue while in the afternoon, each participant could choose to join two workshops among a wide variety of interesting topics. The Cambodian team met each night to gather the fruits from the day and to formulate a detailed plan of ecological action for our new Xavier Jesuit School in Cambodia. The Cambodian team also traveled to Cabramatta to meet Ms. Nuon Mala and her wonderful Khmer family to complete the purchase of the school land.
