It was a great pleasure for Xavier Jesuit School to welcome Shane O’Brien’s family to our school. They arrived in Sisophon on the 2nd of January and left on the 9th. This one week exposure was a marking point as Shane is looking for a possibility of bringing some students from St. Ignatius’ College in Adelaide to Xavier Jesuit School for an exposure around December 2018. Shane brought with him some sporting equipment as well as a First Aid Kit to Xavier Jesuit School; but what was more important was that he and his wife, Nerissa, had shared their gift as teachers with our secondary school students by teaching English to our students. Furthermore, their two children had been a joyful presence to our Community Learning Center.
